CALERA, Ala. (September 15, 2021) – The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's golf team swung to a 6^th placed finish out of 8 teams at the Full Moon Invitational hosted by the University of Montevallo Falcons at Timberline Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
 
As a team, the Badgers shot a 20-over score of 588 (298, 290) across the par-71, 6716-yard course while the tournament champion Falcons were 14-under at 554 (276, 278).
 
Chris Brignet was the top Badger duffer and tied at 13^th place in 144 (73, 71) strokes for a +2 as Montevallo's Gregory Jones (69, 66) and Noah Dennis (68, 67) tied for 1^st with 135 scores of 7-under.
 
Jackson Maniscalco tied for 23^rd place out of 50 golfers with a +5 score of 147 (74, 73) while Pete Schilli tied at 27^th place with a score of +6 in 148 strokes (75, 73).
 
Alex Heib came in tied in 31^st place with a 7-over 149 (76, 73) and Charlie Scheipeter rounded out the Badgers' day in a 44^th place tie carding a +14 score of 156 (81, 75).
 
SHC next plays the University of Mobile Rams in a Match Play competition on Friday-Sunday, September 24-26, 2021 at Heron Lake Golf Club and the Spring Hill Golf Course.
