BATON ROUGE, La. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) Sandy Badgers beach volleyball team suffered two losses at the first day of competition at the annual Battle on the Bayou on Friday afternoon. The opening contest saw the Badgers fall 5-0 to the 4^th-ranked and host Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers (18-5) while the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) Warhawks (12-14) won the evening match in a thrilling 3-2 outcome.
