BATON ROUGE, La. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) Sandy Badgers beach volleyball team swept to three close-fought victories at the final day of competition at the annual Battle on the Bayou on Saturday. The opening contest saw the Badgers earn a 4-1 victory over the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) Bears (15-10). In the early afternoon contest, the Badgers took down the University of New Orleans (UNO) Privateers (5-13) by a 4-1 margin. The final match of the day versus the Texas A&M-Kingsville (TAMK) Javalina (11-11) also went the Badgers' way in a hard-fought 3-2 SHC victory.
