TUSKEGEE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's basketball team lost the second game of a 2-game set at the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers on Sunday afternoon at the Daniel "Chappie" James Center by the score of 93-65.
The Tigers (9-0) held a 52-29 lead at halftime and never looked back in the second period.

Cassidy McDaniel scored 23 points for the Badgers while freshman forward
Tyashia Bostick added 15 points.
As a team, the Badgers shot 37% (20-54) from the floor and made 52.2% (12-23) of their 3-point attempts, but hurt themselves with 25 turnovers against 10 steals by the Tigers. The Badgers knocked down 56.5% (13-23) of their free throw opportunities and were dominated on the boards by a 48-27 margin in rebounding.
Tuskegee was paced by Ashiala Jackson with 23 points and 13 rebounds as the Tigers shot 50% (35-70) from the field and 33.3% (7-21) from 3-point range. The Tigers also shot 72.7% (16-22) from the free throw line and lost 17 turnovers to 8 steals by the Badgers.
The Badgers (0-4) will next host the Miles College Golden Bears (5-10) on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. both days in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
