COLUMBIA, S.C. (November 27, 2021) – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's basketball team ended their season-opening 5-game losing skid with a 58-45 road victory over the Allen University Yellow Jackets at Adams Gym on Saturday afternoon.
The Yellow Jackets (2-2) and the Badgers both struggled offensively to open the game as SHC held a narrow 3-1 lead four minutes into play, but then built out a commanding 56-39 advantage with 2:52 left on the clock in the 4
th quarter.
SHC guard
Tyashia Bostick had her season-high of 28 points, going 10-of-20 from the floor with a 6-of-10 night from 3-point range and two free throws. The Badgers shot just 28.1% (18-64) as a team and 28% (7-25) from 3-point distance, but dominated the boards by a 61-48 margin.
