GREENVILLE, Ala. (October 26, 2021) – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's golf team closed the fall semester portion of its 2021-22 season with a solid 3rd place finish out of 7 teams at the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Fall Preview at Cambrian Ridge Golf Course on Monday and Tuesday.

As a team, the Badgers shot a combined three-round score of 971 (326, 323, 322, +107) over the 5838-yard, par 72 course while Dalton State University earned the championship with a 43-over par 907 (299, 302, 306).

Sophomore Mary Catherine McDaniel (79, 78, 82) of Columbus, Ga. was 7th out of 37 golfers with a +23 total of 239 strokes. Natalia Michas was in 10th place with 241 strokes (82, 84, 75, +25); Claire Landry of Napoleonville, La. wrote down 248 strokes for a +32 score (85, 83, 80) for 14th place; and Natalie Williamson was in 16th place with a +36 score of 252 (89, 78, 85). Ella Katherine Parker rounded out the Badger results in 20th place with a +45 score of 261 (80, 89, 92).

SHC next plays at the University of Mobile Ram Invitational at Magnolia Grove Golf Club on February 21, 2022.
