DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. (October 26, 2021) - The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's golf team finished the fall semester portion of its 2021-22 season on a cold and windy Monday and Tuesday with a 6
th place finish at the Matt Dyas Invitational hosted by the University of West Georgia at West Pines Golf Club.
As a team, the Badgers shot a 51-over score of 903 across the par-71, 6832-yard course to end the 3-round event 27 strokes in back of tournament champion Tusculum University that shot a +24 score of 876.
Rasmus Malmborg (76, 72, 77, 225) led the Badgers with a +12 score for 23
rd place out of 64 golfers while
Brayden Seguin (73, 78, 75, 226) was hot on his heels with a +13 to tie for 26
th place.
Jackson Maniscalco (74, 78, 75, 227) turned in a +14 score for 30
th position;
Pete Schilli (74, 77, 77, 228) carded a +15 for 33
rd place; and
Brennan Dolnick (82, 75, 83, 240) rounded out the day in 52
nd place with a +27 tally.
Competing as individuals,
Chris Brignet (76, 72, 74, 222) tied at 13
th place with a +9 card and
Nicholas Couchard (74, 75, 76, 225) was tied at 23
rd with a +12.
SHC next plays on February 21, 2022 at the University of Mobile Ram Invitational at Magnolia Grove Golf Course.
