MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) softball team completed a 3-game series sweep of the Lane College Dragons on Sunday afternoon with a 3-1 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) victory at Murray Field.

st inning as shortstop
Hannah Fillmore drove in two runs with a double to left field and was later brought in from 2
nd base by a single up the middle off the bat of catcher
Aly Fowler.

Hannah Brenton (3-6) held the Dragons (1-8, 0-3 SIAC West) to four hits and a walk with seven strikeouts while Kayla Saul (0-5) of Lane took the complete-game loss with eight hits, a walk and two strikeouts.
The Badgers (7-7, 3-0 SIAC West) now travel to Jasper, Ala. to play in the annual SIAC Divisional Crossover Tournament at Memorial Park on Thursday-Saturday, March 12-14, beginning at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday versus Clark Atlanta University on Field 2.
