ATLANTA, Ga. – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) named Spring Hill College (SHC) senior forward Chase Shellman to its 2020 Men's Basketball All-Conference 1^st team as announced by the conference office on Sunday afternoon.
 
The 6-foot, 6-inch native of Louisville, Ky., averaged 19.0 points and 9.9 rebounds per game while handing out 83 assists with 18 blocked shots and 19 steals. He finished the regular season shooting 58.2% (214-368) from the floor.
 
In his career, Shellman has scored 1,107 points with 666 rebounds, 252 assists, 45 blocked shots and 46 steals. He currently stands in 29^th place on the SHC career scoring list and is a 3-time member of the SIAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
 
The SIAC West Division 5^th-seeded Badgers (8-20) will face East Division 4^th-seeded Savannah State University (SSU) Tigers (10-12) in the 2020 SIAC Championship Tournament on Monday at 1:15 p.m. in the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center in Rock Hill, S.C.
