MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) softball team scored two runs in the 5
th inning of Game Two to take a 2-1 victory and split results in a non-conference doubleheader versus the Mississippi College Choctaws at Murray Field. The Choctaws earned a 4-2 victory in the opener.
In the first game, the Choctaws (7-5) scored two runs in the 8
th inning after SHC designated player
Morgan Kramer tied the game at 2-2 with a solo homerun in the bottom of the 7
th inning.
Hannah Brenton (0-6) took the complete-game loss with eight hits and six walks allowed while striking out three Choctaws.
In the nightcap, Badger 3

Delaney Thomas drove a single up the middle to score centerfielder
Kaycie Saxton in the 5
th inning as
Olivia Brown (1-1) earned complete-game 5-hit victory with no walks and three strikeouts.
The Badgers (2-7) will host non-conference foe the Christian Brothers University (CBU) Buccaneers at Murray Field on Tuesday, March 3, beginning at 1 p.m.
