GULF SHORES, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) softball team opened the 2020 season on Friday with a pair of rain outs versus the NAIA's 7^th-ranked University of Mobile (UM) Lady Rams and NCAA Division II's 24^th-ranked Valdosta State University (VSU) Blazers in the annual NCAA Division II Gulf Coast Invitational at the Sportsplex.
 
There are no plans to reschedule either contest at this time.
 
The Badgers will try again on Saturday in the NCAA Division II Gulf Coast Invitational at 9 a.m. versus the Rollins College Tars and at 11:30 a.m. versus the 25^th-ranked Saint Leo University Lions.
