MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's basketball team suffered a 64-44 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) West Division loss to the Miles College Lady Bears on Monday evening at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
The Lady Bears (10-5, 6-2 SIAC West) held a 32-25 lead at halftime and built out as much as a 61-39 advantage midway through the 4
th quarter.

Tiffany Valentine of Houston, Texas finished the night with 13 points while senior guard
Elise Reilly of Covington, La. added 10 points to the Badger scoresheet.
As a team, the Badgers shot 38.3% (18-47) overall in the game, including 30% (3-10) from beyond 3-point distance. SHC turned the ball over 22 times against 16 steals by the Bears defense as Miles outscored Spring Hill 25-2 in points off turnovers. The Badgers hit on just 38.5% (5-13) of their free throw opportunities.
Sakina Wynn led the Bears with 20 points as Miles shot 34.4% (21-61) from the field and 27.8% (5-18) from 3-point range. Miles scored on 63% (17-27) of its free throws and lost eight turnovers to three Badger steals while out-rebounding SHC 41-36.
The Badgers (5-12, 4-4 SIAC West) finish out this 3-game home stand on Wednesday night when they host SIAC East Division foe the Fort Valley State University Wildcats (8-9, 4-4 SIAC East) at 5:30 p.m. in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
