PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. – The Spring Hill women's tennis team just missed advancing to the SIAC Championship match by losing 4-2 in a closely-contested meeting with Tuskegee University Monday at the Peachtree City Tennis Complex in Georgia.
The women will conclude their season Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET with a consolation match against defending champion Benedict after it lost to Clark Atlanta, 4-1, in the other semifinal.
Spring Hill collected the point from doubles winning two matches but Tuskegee rallied to win four of the five singles matches to come away with the victory.

Mary Grace Sullivan were 6-4 winners at the No. 1 doubles for Spring Hill while
Rebecca Pearlman /
Mary Roane were 6-4 winners at the No. 3 slot.
Madison Artigues was the only Spring Hill player to come away with a win in singles. She won at No. 3 beating her opponent, 6-3, 6-1.
