MOBILE, Ala. – The Badgers women's tennis team turned in a solid 3-1 effort in Thursday's SIAC Roundup action
 
The Badgers reeled off three straight wins – two against Fort Valley State and one against Albany State before falling in the finale to Tuskegee University.
 
Jamie Martin turned in a stellar effort for the Badgers, going 4-0 in doubles play with partner Mary Grace Sullivan and winning all three singles matches in which she played.
 
Spring Hill lost only one point in the first three matches of the day and ran its winning streak to four matches before falling to Tuskegee.
 
The Badgers will return to action tomorrow in the second day of SIAC Roundup play.
