MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Spring Hill College (SHC) fell 6-1 in its season-opening match at Auburn University Montgomery on Saturday, Feb. 2.

Trailing 2-0 in doubles action, Spring Hill battled at No. 2 doubles action with Cedric Nitz and Kurt Shiell, but lost a close set, 7-5, to Francisco Jimenez and Santiago Veglia.
AUM wrapped up the match by winning No. 1, 4, 3 and 5 singles before Ulf Grosseloh clinched his No.2 singles win for Spring Hill.
