After the matches, SHC head coach Shawn Taylor was happy with the way his team responded to the playing conditions. "I felt like we finished the trip and the season playing some great volleyball," he said. "We got out of the gate strong against Jacksonville State winning at the 6-4 spots. That momentum carried through to the Nos. 2 and 3 pairs. The wind died down today and I felt like we did a great job with our ball control across the board and putting ourselves in great swing opportunities."

In their final year of transition to NCAA Division II, the Sandy Badgers finished the season with 14-8 record, marking the second consecutive winning season in the program's four-year history.
