The Spring Hill College (SHC) Department of Athletics has named Brandon Harigel and Molly Griffin as its Student-Athletes of the Week for their outstanding efforts during the week of April 17-24, 2017.
 
Harigel, a graduate student third baseman from Pace, Fla., was 7-for-16 (.438) at the plate in a three-game SIAC series at Kentucky State this weekend with a double, a three-run home run and 11 RBI. For the year, he is hitting .339 and leads the team in both doubles with 13 and RBI with 52.
 
Griffin, a senior on the beach volleyball team from Westlake Village, Calif., finished her collegiate career on a four-match winning streak along with her No. 2 Court partner senior Savannah Becnel of Metairie, La. Griffin finished the season with a 15-15 record individually while closing her two-year career with 25 victories and the third-most individual victories in Sandy Badger history.
