Badgers stretch Armstrong to limit in 4-3 loss
Box Score ORLANDO, Fla. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) softball team continued play in the Disney Tournament on Saturday afternoon and used a last inning rally to turn a 4-0 deficit into a close 4-3 margin only to see the Armstrong State University Pirates hold on for the win.

Badger right fielder Katelyn Wilson drove a bases-loaded double to left with two outs to clear the bases in the bottom of the 7th inning, but a hard line drive to the second baseman would close out the Spring Hill day with Wilson standing at 3rd base following a passed ball.

Wilson (2-3) started the day in the circle and gave up two solo homers to Pirate shortstop Macy Coleman in the loss while allowing five total hits with five walks and four strike outs before stepping aside to let freshman Baylie Doiron to finish the game.

Jane Trazaska (2-2) earned the complete-game win for Armstrong with eight hits, one walk and six strike outs.

Spring Hill (13-6) will next play the Eckerd College Tritons (8-10) at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday.
