Box Score The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's basketball team lost a 48-39 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) home outcome to the Claflin University (CU) Lady Panthers at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center on Monday evening.

Spring Hill held a 21-16 lead over the Lady Panthers (11-6, 6-1 SIAC East) at halftime and a 33-26 bulge heading into the 4
th quarter, but Claflin found another gear in the final ten minutes of play and outscored SHC 22-6. The Panthers outscored SHC 11-1 in the final 4½ minutes to secure the come-from-behind victory as the Badgers failed to make a field goal for the final six minutes of playing time.

Spring Hill shot 35% (14-10) from the floor including a 26.7% (4-15) performance from 3-point distance. Freshman guard
Elise Reilly was the offensive leader for the Badgers scoring 16 points. SHC out-rebounded the Panthers 35-33, but lost 15 turnovers to nine Lady Panther steals.

The Lady Panthers were paced off the bench by Joclyn Ramos and Briana Chisolm with 11 points each. Claflin lost 13 turnovers to six SHC steals.

Spring Hill (7-7, 3-3 SIAC West) next will host the Clark Atlanta University (CAU) Lady Panthers (6-9, 2-4 SIAC East) on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
