Box Score MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) softball team won a five-inning 10-0 victory over the visiting LeMoyne-Owen College (LOC) Lady Magicians in a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) game at Murray Field on Friday afternoon.

Caroline Sagrera (18-8) picked up her eighth shutout and 21
st complete-game of the year with just one hit allowed, a walk, one hit-batter and 13 strike outs.
At the plate, SHC ran out to a 10-0 lead in a 1
st inning highlighted by a line drive Grand Slam home run to left field by freshman catcher
Kali Clement. Clement was 2-for-3 on the day while right fielder
Katelyn Wilson was 2-for-2 with a single and a double. Shortstop
Carmen Byrd and center fielder
Nikki Bryars also added two hits each to the Badger cause.
For the Lady Magicians (2-16, 2-14 SIAC), LaRaya Fisher took the loss in a complete-game effort with 10 hits, a walk and a strike out, but only surrendered one earned run as her defense committed eight errors behind her in the field. First baseman Jordin Kelow broke up Sagrera's no-hit bid with a solid single to shallow center with one out in the top of the 3
rd inning.
Spring Hill (29-13, 16-0 SIAC) and the Lady Magicians will face off again tomorrow in an SIAC doubleheader beginning at noon at Murray Field.
