"We capped off a great weekend of volleyball," said SHC coach
Shawn Taylor following the matches. "We came out ready to compete agaisnt UAB. The girls were a little hungry to have another chance to play them and I was very proud of the effort. Unfortunately, we dropped some close ones and only Hannah and Molly were able to score a point for the team. Top to bottom, we played some great volleyball, but UAB was just a bit better.
"I felt we started off a little slow against Lincoln Memorial. Early, I thought LMU did a little better job of out-working us and minimizing errors. Once we were able to match their effort and hone in on some things tactically we were able to have a positive impact on the result. I'm very happy with the way we performed. It took a lot out us physically and mentally, but in the end we were able to 3-1 on the weekend which is great for us."
Order of finish: 5, (6), 4, 3, 2*, 1
The Badgers (7-11) will next play at the University of New Orleans (UNO) Privateers on Thursday.
