SHC coach
Shawn Taylor said following the matches, "I think we came out a little flat against UNO. We had a lengthy rain delay midway through the first matches, but it had to do more with UNO being prepared to compete. We simply weren't ready to match their effort. We were split 1-1 after the first two pairs. Maddie and Jules did a great job of being aggressive and pulling out a win at No. 2. All of the other matches went to three sets and we literally came up a play away from winning the match.
"We were able to rebound nicely against MoBap. The clouds even broke and we got a little sunshine. Mo Bap has shaken up their lineup a bit, but I thought we did a good job of making adjustments to pull out the team win."
The Badgers (4-6) will next play LSU at the Pelican Classic in Metairie, La., on Saturday at 9 a.m.
