Box Score The Spring Hill College (SHC) softball team dodged the raindrops and earned a 15-9 victory over the Kentucky State University (KSU) Thorobrettes in a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) game at Murray Field on Monday morning.

The Thorobrettes (0-3, 0-3 SIAC) jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the 1st inning and built out as much as a 5-0 lead after three innings of play, but the Badger offense exploded for six runs in the 4th inning and posted four-run frames in both the 5th and 7th innings for the come-from-behind victory.

Freshman Savannah Folse (0-1) earned her first collegiate victory after moving from right field to the circle just six batters into the 1st inning. She allowed five hits with three walks and four strike outs while also going 4-for-5 with two RBI at the plate.
