UMobile wins 8-1 over SHC men's tennis

MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's tennis team accepted an 8-1 non-conference loss to the University of Mobile Rams on Tuesday evening at the Mobile Tennis Center.

The Badgers (9-6) trailed the Rams (7-5) by a 2-1 score after doubles where senior Daniel Piper and junior Alejandro Hastings Oro won on the No. 3 court in a hard-fought 8-6 decision.

1.    Lucas Tristao (UM) def. Ajejandro Hastings Oro (SHC) 3-6, 6-3, 2-0, retired
2.    Nick Van Amerom (UM) def. Lars Bajohr (SHC) 6-3, 6-1
3.    Karlis Stonis (UM) def. Sebastian Arias (SHC) 6-3, 6-1
4.    Guilherme Pansera (UM) def. Ruben Nick Cruz (SHC) 6-3, 7-5
5.    Santiago Casucci (UM) def. Martin Jaramillo (SHC) 6-0, 6-4

Spring Hill will next travel to Memphis, Tenn., to compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Divisional Crossover Tournament hosted by LeMoyne-Owen College this Thursday through Saturday.
