Tigers cuff Badgers, 56-46
Box Score The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's basketball team underwent a 56-46 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) loss to the Stillman College Tigers on Saturday evening at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.

The SIAC West Division-leading Tigers (14-7, 10-4 SIAC West) trailed the Badgers 27-21 at halftime, but answered the 2nd half bell with a 20-6 run that left Spring Hill down by a 47-33 deficit with 9 minutes left to play. SHC would get no closer than eight points with a minute and a half to play.

Junior guard Jarrett Calhoun led SHC with 13 points as sophomore center Dejan Stefanovic added 10 points to the Badger cause. Spring Hill shot 30% overall (15-50) and 10.5% (2-19) from 3-point distance while losing 15 turnovers to 10 Stillman steals. Rebounding continued to be a strong point for Spring Hill, however, as the Badgers hauled down 37 boards and allowed Stillman only 29 rebounds.

For Stillman, Rodnerius Lewis dropped in 18 points and Markeith Madison came off the bench to contribute 11 points. The Tigers shot 41.5% (17-41) from the floor including 47.4% (9-19) from beyond the 3-point line. Still lost 14 turnovers to five Badger steals, but blocked seven shots by Spring Hill.

Spring Hill (7-16, 6-8 SIAC West) will next travel to the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers (12-9, 9-5 SIAC West) on Thursday for a game beginning at 7:30 p.m.
