COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's tennis team finished the final days of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Inter-Divisional Round Up at the Parklawn Tennis Courts with a 1-3 record on Friday and Saturday. The Badgers lost 7-0 to host Benedict College, fell 5-4 to Fort Valley State University, then rebounded for an 8-0 victory over LeMoyne-Owen College and closed the week with a 6-0 loss to Tuskegee University.
Friday morning the Badgers trailed Benedict by a 3-0 score after doubles play and the Tigers secured the victory with wins on the Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 6 singles courts.

Friday afternoon Fort Valley State held a 2-1 lead after doubles play, but the Badgers battled back to tie the score at 4-4 before a tiebreaker loss on No. 4 singles court sent the Badgers down to defeat.
