Box Score JACKSON, Tenn. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's basketball team rolled to a 71-61 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) West Division victory over the Lane College Lady Dragons on Saturday afternoon at J.F. Lane Gymnasium.
SHC held a 36-23 advantage over the Lady Dragons (1-13, 1-7 SIAC West) at halftime and cruised to a final 10-point victory.

Amber Lane led Spring Hill with 18 points and fellow freshman guard
Jennifer Clark added 10 points as sophomore center
Leah Washington hauled in 11 rebounds. As a team, the Badgers shot 47.5% (29-61) from the floor and 25% (4-16) from 3-point distance while winning the rebounding battle 37-33. Spring Hill turned the ball over 20 times versus just five steals by the Lady Dragons.
Lane was paced by Chloe Roberts with 22 points and Cellonda Crawford with 13 points. The Lady Dragons were 30.8% (16-52) overall and 40% (2-5) from 3-point land. The SHC defense took away 14 steals as Lane lost 22 turnovers.
The Badgers (9-8, 6-3 SIAC West) now move down the road to Memphis, Tenn., to face the LeMoyne-Owen College Lady Magicians (10-4, 6-1 SIAC West) in a 5:30 p.m. contest at Bruce/Johnson Hall.
