Box Score MOBILE, Ala. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's basketball team won their third consecutive Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) game on Monday evening with a 57-49 victory over the Miles College Lady Golden Bears at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
The Lady Golden Bears (2-10, 1-6 SIAC West) led by as much as six points at 22-16 with 5:11 on the 1st half clock, but the Badgers rallied to tie the game 24-24 at halftime and exploded for a 12-3 run to open the 2nd half to build out a 36-27 bulge with 15:22 left on the clock.
For much of the remainder of the game, SHC held a 10- to 12-point led to keep the Lady Golden Bears at arms' length as senior guard

Jennifer Clark iced the game with four consecutive free throws down the stretch.
SHC shot 36.4% (20-55) for the game and 21.1% (4-19) from the 3-point arc, but lost 21 turnovers to 10 steals by Miles. Miles also out-rebounded the Badgers 46-41. Clark led the way for Spring Hill with 14 points as sophomore center
Leah Washington added 12 points with 11 rebounds.
Porshia Blue paced the Lady Golden Bears with 14 points and nine rebounds while Ashley Steger pitched in 10 points for the visitors. Miles shot just 26.7% (16-60) overall including 28.6% (2-7) from 3-point distance. Miles also lost 20 turnovers to 11 SHC steals.
Spring Hill (8-7, 5-2 SIAC West) will be back on the road on Thursday night for a 5:30 p.m. game with the Kentucky State University Thorobrettes (8-4, 4-2 SIAC West) at the Exum Center in Frankfort, Ky.
