Box Score The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's basketball team battered their way to a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) victory over the Albany State University Golden Rams by the score of 82-65 on Monday night at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.

SHC took a 45-35 lead over the Golden Rams (5-7, 1-4 SIAC East) into the halftime intermission and led by as much as 15 points at 52-37 with just over 15 minutes remaining in the game. The Badgers would maintain a comfortable double digit advantage over the final 10 minutes of play as ASU could get no closer than eight points at 59-51 with nine minutes to play.

The Badgers shot a healthy 55.6% (30-54) from the floor and 44.4% (8-18) in 3-point attempts while also out-rebounding the Rams 34-29. The Badger bench did most of the damage with all four double-digit scorers coming off the pine. Sophomore center Dejan Stefanovic scored 16 points while freshmen guards Matevz Rojc and Jack Morrissey each added 15 points and fellow frosh guard DeVaughn Hardrick pitched in 10 points.

Larry Bullock led all scorers for the Rams with 17 points while Elijah Jordan had 14 points and Chris Wheeler threw down 11 points.

Both teams kept turnovers to a reasonable measure as SHC lost 10 balls to four ASU steals and the Rams fumbled away seven chances against just two Badger steals.

Spring Hill (3-11, 2-3 SIAC West) will next travel to Orangeburg, S.C., to face the Claflin University Panthers (5-8, 2-2 SIAC East) at Tullis Arena on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. (Eastern)
