Box Score The Spring Hill College (SHC) men's basketball team took a 76-64 loss at the hands of the Loyola University (La.) Wolf Pack in a non-conference match between the historic Jesuit rivals on Wednesday night at the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center.
The Wolf Pack (6-4) trailed the Badgers 33-28 at the half, but rallied to take a 38-37 lead at the 16:23 mark of the second half off a 3-point bucket by Daniel Kuhl. From there, Loyola built out as much as a 13-point cushion over Spring Hill at 60-47 with 3:36 remaining in the game.

Robert Drummond paced SHC with 11 points as sophomore
Sam Hutcheson hauled in 11 rebounds. As a team, SHC shot 39.3% (22-56) from the field and 31.3% (5-16) in 3-point attempts. The Badgers were out-rebounded 43-33 and lost six turnovers to a single steal by the Wolf Pack.
Loyola saw four players reach double figures in scoring with Jalen Gray leading the way at 22 points. The Wolf Pack was 40.7% (24-59) overall and 20.8% (5-24) in 3-point shooting while losing just four turnovers to a pair of Badger steals.
Spring Hill (1-8) now breaks for the Christmas holiday before traveling to Thibodaux La., to face NCAA Division I opponent the Nicholls State University Colonels (2-5) on Tuesday, December 30, at 6:30 p.m. in Stopher Gym.
