Box Score TOUGALOO, Miss. – The Spring Hill College (SHC) women's basketball team ran its current winning streak to three games with an 81-70 non-conference road victory over the Tougaloo College Lady Bulldogs on Monday evening.

SHC led Tougaloo (0-8) by a 41-28 margin at halftime and by as much as 17 points in the 2nd half as freshman guard Jewel Hill paced the Badgers with 19 points and fellow freshman guard Jennifer Clark added 12 points. Senior forward Twarner Witherspoon hauled in 10 rebounds as Spring Hill dominated the boards 44 to 19 against the Bulldogs.

The Badgers shot 50.8% (33-65) from the field including 52.6% (10-19) from 3-point land while turning the ball over 21 times against 12 steals by Tougaloo's defense.

Reyada Stinner scored a game-high 26 points to pace the Bulldogs as Tougaloo shot 47.5% (28-59) from the floor and 42.9% (6-14) in 3-point attempts. The home team lost 15 turnovers as the Badgers took the ball away on steals nine times.

Spring Hill (3-3) will host historic Jesuit rival the Loyola University (La.) Wolf Pack (9-0) on Wednesday in the Arthur R. Outlaw Recreation Center beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Wednesday night contest also will be part of the Jesuit Basketball Spotlight (JBS). The JBS is a nationwide effort to capitalize on basketball games between Jesuit schools and, through those games, bring greater positive awareness and exposure to Jesuit education and its shared mission. This project was developed by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) in 2008 in response to member institutions wanting to spread the word of Jesuit higher education through the more than 90 basketball games in which Jesuit institutions play each other every season.
