Patrick Browne was an outstanding three-sport athlete for the Badgers from 1920-1924. Browne was known as a skilled passer and receiver for the Badger football squad in the early 1920’s, often teaming up with fellow SHC great, Eddie McEvoy. The Browne-McEvoy combination brought many exciting moments for the Badger faithful. Browne was known for his leadership and was the captain of both the football and basketball teams his senior year in 1923. Browne later attended Tulane where he captained the 1927 Green Wave football squad. He returned to the Hill to in 1931 to serve as the Head Football Coach for two seasons.
