Jeff Burg starred for the Badger Baseball program from 1991–1994. Burg was a key member of the 1992 District 30 championship team and still holds multiple top-5 spots in the Spring Hill College Baseball Record Book. Burg has a career batting average of .337 and recorded a career-high .422 average during the 1992 Championship Campaign. He also led the 1992 team, considered one of the best in school history, in nearly every offensive category. The three-time All- Gulf Coast Conference selection batted in 53 runs during the 1993 season for a total of 140 RBIs during his career on The Hill. Burg is considered one of the all-around best baseball players in Spring Hill College history.
