Gehr, a 1940 SHC graduate, was one of the first cheerleaders of the Badgers. He was known to travel wherever the Badgers were going to compete and lead the faithful fans in cheers. Gehr was supporting the Spring Hill College teams regardless of the records or score, his love for the SHC was unmatched.
