A sophomore on the men’s golf team from Gavle, Sweden, Nilsson won the 2015 Badger Shootout hosted by Spring Hill College on Sunday and Monday at the Spring Hill Golf Course with a one-stroke victory over a field of 45 golfers in a 1-under score of 143 (70, 73). As a team, the Badgers also took the tournament championship in a total score of 580 (293, 287, +4) to finish 30 strokes ahead of second place University of Mobile (UM) (312, 298, 610, +34) Rams over the par-72, 6665-yard course.
