A senior men’s cross country runner from Poplarville, Miss., Travis placed first in the Collegiate Division at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Cross Country Fest held in Metairie, La., on Saturday. He ran in 14th place overall finish of the 53 runners from all collegiate levels with a time of 17:23.5 for the ninth best 5-kilomoter time in SHC cross country history.
