A junior catcher on the baseball team from Pensacola, Fla., Jones was 8-for-14 (.571) at the plate in four games this week including a 5-for-5 day in Saturday’s second game versus Tuskegee University. Tallying three doubles and a home run, he added six runs-scored and nine RBIs. Jones is currently hitting .413 with a team-leading 24 RBIs in 16 games-played.
