A senior point guard on the women’s basketball team from Spanish Fort, Ala., VandeWaa scored 20 points in three games this week and handed out eight assists with 10 rebounds. For the season she averaged 8.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and dished out a team-high 77 assists while taking away 26 steals.
