A senior on the men’s tennis team from Lake Charles, La., Piper earned two victories in singles play and a 1-1 record in doubles play this week. Versus Belhaven University on Thursday, he picked up the Badgers’ lone victory in an 8-1 loss by rallying to win in a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 tie-breaker decision on the No. 5 singles court. Piper also won 6-0, 6-0 at singles No. 5 versus Tougaloo on Saturday.
