A senior shortstop on the softball team Breaux Bridge, La., Blanchard was 3-for-5 (.600) in the Badgers' season-opening doubleheader versus West Alabama on Sunday including an RBI-triple to right field in the 1st inning of the second game. In the field, she had four putouts with one assist
