A freshman on the men's tennis team from Foley, Ala., Cruz made his collegiate debut with a 6-4, 6-0 singles victory on the No. 5 court that clinched the Badgers' 6-3 SIAC win over Stillman College in the season opener a Mobile Tennis Center on Friday. Cruz also recorded an 8-2 victory on the No. 3 doubles court with his partner senior Daniel Piper of Lake Charles, La.
