A freshman specializing in throws on the men's Track & Field team from Tampa, Fla., Taylor placed 1^st out of 22 competitors in shot put on Sunday at the Emory University Crossplex Invitational in Birmingham with a distance of 14.10 meters. He also placed 6^th of 20 competitors in the men's weight throw with a distance of 12.72 meters.
