MOBILE, Ala. (September 14, 2021) – The Spring Hill College (SHC) Department of Athletics has named Diogo Sousa and Emily Weinzapfel as its Student-Athletes of the Week for their achievements during the week of September 6-12, 2021.

Sousa, a redshirt midfielder on the men’s soccer team scored both goals in the Badgers come-from-behind 2-1 victory at Eckerd College on Friday night. For the season, the Estoril, Portugal native has scored two goals with two assists over 300 minutes in four matches.
