McClure, a true freshman 3rd baseman from Mandeville, La. was 4-for-8 this week with a double, a triple, and an RBI. For the year, he finished with the team’s second highest batting average of .329 with five doubles, three triples, a home run and 12 RBI. In 21 starts, he fielded the “hot corner” with a .912 fielding percentage (12-40-5) and participated in four double plays.
