Bodet, a sophomore on the women’s track team from New Orleans, La., finished 3^rd of 12 competitors while setting a new school record in the heptathlon with 3517 points at Montevallo on March 23-24. Her totals included marks of 27.88 in the 200-meter dash; 3:00.79 in the 800-meter run; 17.20 in 100-meter hurdles; 1.51 meters in high jump; 5.07 meters in long jump: 5.07m; 9.10 meters in shot put; and 18.68 meters in javelin.
