Loyd, a sophomore guard from Baton Rouge, La., averaged 15.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in the Badgers’ two home victories over in-state rivals University of Mobile and Tuskegee University this week. For the season, he is averaging 10 points and six rebounds while shooting 58.2% (92-158) from the field with 33 assists, 15 steals and nine blocked shots.
