Toups, a sophomore from Baton Rouge, La., ran the 6th fastest 5-kilometer time in SHC men’s cross country history with a 16:38.0 mark at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Cross Country Fest hosted by Loyola University (La.) at LaFreniere Park in Metairie, La., on Saturday morning.
