Griffin, a junior beach volleyball player from Westlake Village, Calif., and her partner redshirt sophomore Hannah Masoner of Camden, Tenn., won 3-out-of-4 matches on the No. 3 court at the UAB Beach Blast in Birmingham on Saturday and Sunday. Griffin and Masoner are 6-6 as a team on the No. 3 court this season while Griffin personally holds a 9-9 overall record.
