Kiene, a junior right-hander from Baker High School in Mobile, turned in a complete-game performance in the Badgers’ 4-1 victory over Miles College on Saturday afternoon in Birmingham. He scattered five hits with five strike outs and just two walks while improving his record to 4-2 on the year. So far this season, Kiene holds a 4.43 ERA in 40.2 innings pitched with 32 strike outs.
