"We can't be more proud of the effort we gave this weekend," said SHC head coach Shawn Taylor after the matches. "Picking up two wins against Kingsville and Corpus Christi was quality. I thought we did a great job of competing against Georgia State and ULM. Both went down to the wire and we came up a few points short in each match. At the end of play, I told the ladies I thought it was a really good weekend of Badger beach volleyball and we were really close to making it a great one."

The Badgers (14-16) will close out the 2017 season on April 22-13 at the Governor Beach Challenge hosted by Austin Peay University in Nashville, Tenn., beginning at 9 a.m. Friday versus the hosting Governors.
